Trial Run Tableau

On Saturday, June 16, 2012, Three Worlds Meet Project Principals met with American Mountain Men (AMM) representatives (Living History Specialists) who were camped on the grounds of Fort Laramie National Historic Site. The "Mountain Men" were there to help commemorate the 175th Anniversary of Alfred Jacob Miller's Expedition West. Three Worlds Meet Project Principals offered presentations to the gathered audience on the event's historical background, and this was followed by a Tableau Vivant of "An Early Dinner Party Near Larrimer's (Laramie) Fork" portrayed by AMM representatives. This Trial Run Tableau helped define and solidify the much more elaborate presentation that will take place at the Green River Rendezvous Days in Pinedale, Wyoming on July 12-13.
